WHICH PAVERS ARE RIGHT FOR ME?
There are now hundreds of choices in pavers! With all these
choices which one is right for me?
The answer lies in taking first a look at the surroundings of
your home. It is important to note the style and color of your
home.
Once you have taken note of the surroundings of your space
then take a look at some of the paver choices offered by
Sunwest at the bottom of this page. See your sales
representative for a complete brochure of the entire line of
pavers available.
HOW ARE PAVERS INSTALLED?
Pavers that are installed correctly should not "settle" or
become uneven. Properly installed pavers should also drain
water away from the home. Proper installation of pavers
should start with a sub-base of compacted aggregate. A
heavy gas compacter should be used to achieve this. Next, a
layer of compacted sand is applied to achieve the proper
uniform flat look. Lastly, more compaction is required. This
will give the pavers its final attractive look.

TUMBLED
NON-TUMBLED
Generally pavers come in these two styles. Tumbled pavers look "rustic" or "weathered".
They are purposely put through a "tumbler" to break away corners and chip the sides of
the paver. Non-Tumbed pavers are smoother and "newer" looking.
